Back online

Over the past little while my computer has been in the shop getting fixed, all under warranty so it wasn't my fault. Now that it's back and working better than before we can start bringing you a top quality radio show, because everything's reliant on computers...

First thing coming up is an interview with Parkway Drive, we have penciled in for this week. Parkway Drive have a new album, their third, out recently, "Deep Blue" and have 2 New Zealand tours coming up- 1st in September, headlining a few dates up and down the country- Auckland gig now sold out, and secondly, as apart of "No Sleep Til Auckland" in December.

Cancer Bats Show info (copypasta from Facebook)

Blazing is the term that best describes the current incarnation of Cancer Bats. Since Hail Destroyer, they’ve charred the pages of Kerrang!, Alternative Press, NME, Exclaim!, and countless other top-tier publications. They’ve ignited the concert going kindling from stages at SXSW, Taste Of Chaos, Download Festival, Edgefest, Leeds, and Reading, and alongside heavyweights like Rise Against, Billy Talent, Alexisonfire, Bring Me The Horizon, and Bullet For My Valentine. Still, the ultimate goal is just to share their music with people that are passionate about it.

Having blitzed New Zealand audiences in 2009 alongside Bring Me The Horizon on the back of their lauded sophomore album 'Hail Destroyer', the Bats return to our shaky shores for their first headlining run having since birthed a grimy hardcore giant with their heaviest, deadliest, and most brutal offering to date 'Bears, Mayors, Scraps & Bones'. The new album shows a sharpening of the band’s musical blades – a tighter rhythm section, a gnarlier teeth – grinding guitar tone, and a vocal performance that truly encapsulates the passion frontman Liam Cormier brings to the stage. Touring alongside the boys from Toronto will be rising hardcore dirt rockers Snakes of Iron and emerging punk upstarts Leeches (featuring former members of The Bleeders) in what will be 2010's loudest travelling party.

Cancer Bats have come to destroy. Fueled by a burning desire to rage harder, play louder and have more fun than any other band.
