Free sampler of a Nuclear Blast
Free sampler from Nuclear Blast Records: It's quite a juicy one, as there are a few tracks on their that are from albums due out in July, i.e All Shall Perish, and Sepultura's Kairos isn't out just yet either..
All you gotta do is direct your facebook account to https://www.facebook.com/nuclearblasteurope and click on the free sampler: hint- you have to 'like' the page first, and if you already do then you're sweet to download it.

Testament
Just a quick bit of news regarding the next Testament album- drummer Paul Bostaph is injured and acording to a metal blog quoting a metal blog & then checking the bands facebook page to make sure it's 100% legit (because everything on facebook is true ;p) Someone said the album's due out late 2011. Can't wait.
The band's re-recruited, Gene Hoglan to record the majority of the new album, which work has just started on. Gene previously worked with the band on their 1997 album "Demonic". He's also worked with Dark Angel, Death, Strapping Young Lad (& Devin Townsends solo stuff), Old Man's child, Tenet, Zimmershole, Dethklok, and Fear Factory (for the 'Mechanize' album)
Lamb of God's Chris Adler is due to guest on a few bonus tracks.

New Suicide Silence album on the way
Californian Deathcore-ians, Suicide Silence, are expected to release a new album "The Black Crown" mid July via Century Media records.
The group, last seen on NZ shores at the mammoth "No Sleep Til Auckland" festival, alongside Megadeth, GWAR, Parkway Drive and others. But the new album features a couple of guest musos, namely Frank Mullen (Suffocation- I saw them at the Studio a few years back) and Jonathan Davis (Korn, also played in NZ relatively recently, at the Vector Arena) which seems mildly fitting as I guess many deathcore kiddies grew up on a mix of Suffocation brand death metal and the nu-metal shit storm that brought a resergence in mainstream success of metal.
Tracklisting;
1. Slaves to substance
2. O.C.D
3. Human violence
4. You only live once
5. Fuck everything
6. March to the Black Crown
7. Withness the addiction (feat. Jonathan davis)
8. Cross-Eyed Catastrophe
9. Smashed (feat. Frank Mullen)
10. The only thing that sets us apart
11. Cancerous Skies.

Upcoming Nuclear Blast record releases
Sepultura "Kairos" (24th June)
I've had a quick once over listen to a couple of the songs on this album, and all I can say is that it's a new Sepultura. If you loved the sound of Sepultura of the 80's/90's then you'd probably do best to listen to records from that era, seems as though they're trying to re-invent themselves.
All Shall Perish "This is Where it Ends" (29th July)
Decapitated "Carnival is forever" (15th July)
