Winter Deluge have released a new album "As the Earth Fades into Obscurity"
I'll confess that I'm no connoisseur of black metal, but I know from the quick listen I've managed so far, that this album is going to kick some ass.
Apart from an instrumental track (track 8) the whole thing is fast as buggery, Nekasarof's vocals (or really, his intense black metal screams) sound as though they were recorded in the middle of some vast open winterscape (okay, in my mind: winter is black metal's season, like, it would not make sense to me if I ever saw a black metal album cover with the band out in the dessert or at the beach or something. Summer Deluge will not be the name of a black metal band, is what I'm saying.).
If you haven't obeyed orders and rushed out to stores to get your own copy straight away; Tune into the Hard Fast & Heavy show on May 14th where we'll be play a selection of tracks from the album. Guitarist, Arzryth, has recommended tracks 3, 6 and 9, these tracks combined tick up a whopping 18 and a half minutes, so tune in to see whether we play one or all three.
