From Mothra:
Here it is, our debut music video for ‘The Beginning’. This clip was shot in 4 different countries by our good friend Shaun Leyden. You can check out more of his epic work at mintamatics.com. The track was mixed by Aaron Harris, a member of one of our favourite and most inspiring bands ISIS. We would like to extend an enormous hand of gratitude to both Shaun and Aaron for their exceptional work. We can’t thank you guys enough.
Cheers also to: Rob Christie, Tom Anderson, Lance Powell, Rhamsey, Joost, Jamie Whitehouse, Andy Lagan, Billy Goddard, Luke Bradshaw, Mark Howden, and everyone else who helped make this happen.
Some scenes may disturb, viewer discretion is advised.

Fear Factory are playing one show in New Zealand at the Powerstation on 22nd September 2012.
Presale tickets on sale Tues 10th July from
http://www.muchmoremusic.co.nz/
http://www.powerstation.net.nz/
General tickets on sale Thurs 12th July from Ticketmaster & Real Groovy
For all show & ticketing info go to: http://www.muchmoremusic.co.nz/
http://www.fearfactory.com/
Go check out the tour dates at https://www.facebook.com/fearfactory
The band's latest album "The Industrialist" is a stonking effort in line with their previous album "Mechanize".
The band seems to be made up of the core members Burton C Bell and Dino Cazares, with former Chimaira bassist Matt DeVries, don't know who's taking over drums (facebook has the spot listed as empty) as Gene Hoglan is busy with multiple other projects, including Testament and probably Dethklok.

Korpiklaani releases new music video (en & fn)
Korpiklaani has released a new music video, well it's a video for one song but there are two versions, one in English, the other in Finnish.
Here's the English version of the video, "The Steel" which I think is slightly edited to show less of vocalist, Jonne Järvelä singing, compared to Rauta (the Finnish version)
The bands new album, Manala, is due out at the beginning of August via Nuclear Blast records. It seems as though it might be a concept album, with Manala being the underworld in Finnish Mythology.
Something new for the band who often feature an English song or two amoungst Finnish in albums, there is apparently going to be a version of the release that will feature a second cd, basically the whole album again but in English: a seemingly obvious point to note as all the releases from this record so far have had two versions.
Here's a previously released pair of songs from Manala, the song Honor (Finnish- Kunnia):

Sweet new music vid for 'Empire' by Beastwars
Wellington band Beastwars has released a music video for "Empire" from their self-titled debut.
It's a story piece interspersed with shots of the band performing infront of a bon-fire. The story has elements taken from tribal, medieval, horses, being covered in mud & beards.
An excellent watch, and the way it's cut and the story brings back the feeling of watching old music vids where you couldn't tell if you were watching a story progress or just a series of random shots/images designed to hopefully evoke emotional responses akin to that of the song itself.
Also worth watching for Beastwars fans are the live videos from a York Street show
