I'm back.
Been away from the airwaves for a bit, coming back tomorrow night (2nd Sept). It's been my 1st break in 7yrs & I spent my time off wisely: by not at all thinking about the show.
Gonna try out a couple of new segments:
Firstly, an on air review of sorts, of various albums, which I'm hoping turns into me making grunts and other various noises to convey how I felt about the music. I'll be watching a bit of Seinfeld to get some inspiration.
Secondly, I'll be calling on the listening population to call in to tell me what they did on the weekend: the catch is it's gotta be something metal or I'm hanging up on you. I don't like leaving the flat at all so I want to live vicariously through others. If it turns into nothing but being drunk stories I'll can it, unless those stories are funny.
Thirdly, I'll be resurrecting Midnight weather. I tried it again a few times before my break and still reviled in the joke. The Heavy metal/battle vest segment will remain buried until I can either find a vest that fits better, or I lose my beer belly & turn into my 16yr old self again: might try taking it seriously if I do ever resurrect it, apparently certain metal fashions can be a touchy subject for some serious types.
