I know a fair few kiwi's make the treck over to these big festivals (that skip NZ) so this should give those of you who are thinking of going, enough time to save up & pick which date to go to..
I'd wanna to see: Gojira, Steel Panther, Devin Townsend Project, as well as very much wanting to check out; Every Time I Die, The Acacia Strain, Skindred, Danzig, Van Halen, Alice Cooper, Hellyeah, Unearth, Times of Grace, In this moment. There will no doubt be more added to this list, as I figure out who some of the other bands are
On a side note: if anyone wants to sponsor my flights and tickets etc to one of the festival dates, I am not above whoring myself out (in a nonsexual way) Also, I'd be your best friend forever. Media people travel all over the place, internationally and not, and often for rather pathetic reasons (i.e. 15min interview with a big name star)
