Bad reaction

Saw some cell phone video of this song (Gojira's "Of Blood and Salt" feat. Devin Townsend and Fredrik Thordendal of Meshuggah off a forthcoming EP for the Sea Shepards charity.) at one of the 2012 Soundwave shows in Aussie recently.

And, as you may or may not know, I was unable to attend ANY soundwave related show this year (including the limited selection that popped over to NZ) so when I heard about the performance as depicted in the video above, my reaction was:

New update regarding Devin Townsend's work on "Ghost"

Hey  folks, Dev here, I left my camera in the studio so I’m using the Imovie. So I think I’m about 75% finished “Ghost” and it seems like it’s going to be a double record and the label has graciously agreed to do that. I got it kinda in the ball park, mix wise and we leave on tour in like 2 weeks so gotta get it finished into mastering before then. It’s gone really well, pretty easily, it’s a pretty diverse record. I’ve been very fortunate to have some really cool people involved it , obviously Mike and Dave play drums and keyboards. A lady named Katrina sang the  vocals, female vocals, a great job. Kat Apple (?) who’s a flute player, did all the wind instruments and just amazing work, I’ve been listening to her since I was a teenager so it’s a real big honour to have her agree to be on one of my records, in all honesty shocking but did such a great job, as you can hear >indicates  background music< So,  Deconstructed’s next, we’ve got this American tour and then I come back and do Deconstruction and it looks I’ll be using the Prague Symphony choir for certain elements of that, it looks like that’ll be a double record too, so no sleep for the turtle-esk.
