Heavy music’s most established and innovative band, Converge will return to Auckland, New Zealand in February 2013.

Considered one of the most intense, important, and influential metal/hardcore bands of all time, the band's latest album “All We Love We Leave Behind “ is the most integral album to date in a catalogue that's celebrated to an almost religious degree by countless fans of punk, metal and hardcore.

Credited with giving rise to a genre and influencing countless bands all over the world, Converge have always been the type of band that never fit into one subculture, creating a sound that is entirely their own. The band attribute that to the fact that since their 2001 landmark album Jane Doe, they haven't had any member changes and maintain the unwavering individualism and uncompromising artistic vision they had when they formed over 21 years ago.

Wicked Line up at the Kings Arms May 20th

Auckland band Molest the Epsicopate along with Chch metallers Tainted, the mighty The Mark of Man, Perditionist and Taurangas Machete Justice are at the Kings Arms this May the 20th.

• Molest the Epsicopate's debut, "Socialistica Nervosa" will be on sale.
• Tainted are working on their 3rd album.
• The Mark of Man have mech available and proceeds go to charity (SAFE) http://themarkofman.printmighty.co.nz/
• Perditionist are working on new material- recording in the same studio as Molest the Epsicopate and In Dread Response

Those who went to/ remember a gig on Easter this year at the Transmission Room, Black FKN Friday, which featured Auckland & Christchurch bands (and Cripple Mr Onion, who I imagine could call both cities home) as well as a debut (I think) performance from The Mark of Man, and a band who came dressed in dresses...

But Chch's Zerstiren performed that night, and they are making the hike back up to the big smoke for a show at the Kings Arms on the day after the BDO (Jan 22nd), this time bringing:

Blindfolded and Led to the Woods (BALTTW) who made news by appearing on Tween show hosted by someone called Erin Simpson.
And;
The Murderous Seth, which is made up of 2 guys from Blindfolded and led to the woods, with the other two coming from Athenic and Word of God (both now ex members of those bands).

The night's rounded off by The Mark of Man & Mt Eden massive: Anabyss.


Zerstiren, themselves, have their debut album, Ave Pangenitor, being mixed and mastered in Austria!
