Hey  folks, Dev here, I left my camera in the studio so I’m using the Imovie. So I think I’m about 75% finished “Ghost” and it seems like it’s going to be a double record and the label has graciously agreed to do that. I got it kinda in the ball park, mix wise and we leave on tour in like 2 weeks so gotta get it finished into mastering before then. It’s gone really well, pretty easily, it’s a pretty diverse record. I’ve been very fortunate to have some really cool people involved it , obviously Mike and Dave play drums and keyboards. A lady named Katrina sang the  vocals, female vocals, a great job. Kat Apple (?) who’s a flute player, did all the wind instruments and just amazing work, I’ve been listening to her since I was a teenager so it’s a real big honour to have her agree to be on one of my records, in all honesty shocking but did such a great job, as you can hear >indicates  background music< So,  Deconstructed’s next, we’ve got this American tour and then I come back and do Deconstruction and it looks I’ll be using the Prague Symphony choir for certain elements of that, it looks like that’ll be a double record too, so no sleep for the turtle-esk. We have been awarded the opportunity to have a talk (Phone) to someone in the Pennsylvanian metalcore band August Burns Red.

Among other things, including heading off on a European tour (with a few sold out dates) very shortly, they'll be hitting our shores in December, as apart of the "No Sleep Til" Auckland

We're not looking for a replacement co-host, stop asking...

I've received a few emails etc about the re-appearance of Caleb on the show last night, the main thing I'm wanting to address is the issue of co-host of the show.

I'm not looking for anyone to replace Random Guy as co-host (old hfhshow co-host- started with me back in 2006) There have been some awesome people put their names forward (and some not-so-awesome) and I feel stink having to say no all the time, but such is life.

I appreciate the interest but ultimately, if I want a co-host (or even replacement to take over hfhshow after me, in years to come) I will be the one to ask the individual(s) and put their names forward to the station, myself.

I'm still having fun, and will continue hardfastnheavy'ing for a long while yet...

Over the past little while my computer has been in the shop getting fixed, all under warranty so it wasn't my fault. Now that it's back and working better than before we can start bringing you a top quality radio show, because everything's reliant on computers...

First thing coming up is an interview with Parkway Drive, we have penciled in for this week. Blazing is the term that best describes the current incarnation of Cancer Bats. Since Hail Destroyer, they’ve charred the pages of Kerrang!, Alternative Press, NME, Exclaim!, and countless other top-tier publications.
